Our Process
How long will it take to receive my furniture? At Grain & Grid, we are a boutique studio that prioritizes quality over speed. Most of our pieces are made-to-order, meaning they are handcrafted specifically for you. Our standard lead time is typically 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece.
What if the item I want is already in stock? If the item you ordered is currently in stock, we will notify you right away! In these cases, your delivery will be moved up, and you can expect your new furniture much sooner than our standard lead time.

The Craft & The Origin
Who designs and builds my furniture? Every piece at Grain & Grid is a personal labor of love. As a Colombian-born Canadian designer and maker, I personally lead the entire journey of your furniture—from the initial design and structural "grid" to the final hand-finished "grain." My heritage and passion for quality craftsmanship are built into every joint and surface, ensuring that your piece is as unique as the story behind it.Where is your furniture manufactured? All our pieces are designed, produced, and finished right here in Toronto. By keeping the entire process under one roof, I can personally guarantee that every item meets our high standards for durability and aesthetic beauty.
Why do you use local suppliers? I believe in supporting the community that supports me. We source our materials from Toronto-based suppliers to find the best quality wood and metal. This allows for a shorter supply chain, a smaller carbon footprint, and a final product that is truly "Made in Canada."
